Contact Me

My name is Muriel Demarcus (My married name is Jacques -you know everything now) and I am a self-proclaimed Yummy Mummy living in London. I started this blog when I left the Corporate world in 2011 to set up my own business (nothing to do with writing) and spend more time with my children.
As far as I can remember, I have always wanted to write, but never had the time. To make matters even worse, I have a scientific background, and one of my (French) teachers once laughed to my face when I told him I wanted to be a writer. To be fair to him, I never had good grades in French.

Fast forward to 2014, and here I am, making the cover of The Times Magazine and working with the BBC, SkyNews and the likes...My goal is now to write a book to share my experiences with a wider audience. Wish me luck!

As you will see, I write about the cultural differences between my home country (France) and my adoptive country (Great Britain). I am sometimes called judgemental, simplistic (and other even less nice adjectives...). Somehow I managed to hurt a few readers. C'est la vie. Let me just say that a detailed analysis of all my posts as of June 2014 has shown that:
- 74% of them are parodies
- 18% are opinions
- and the rest couldn't be categorised.

Of course I will not tell you which is which. You will have to figure it out for yourself. Now you are warned.

40blogSpot - A French Yummy Mummy In London doesn't do reviews, back links or sponsored posts. We don't accept pre-written content. I want my blog to showcase my writing. Nothing more, nothing less.
